Pete visits Charmouth!
Well, the forecast wasn’t great this weekend which means it must be that time of year for the Spring Charmouth Fly-in!
I made the trip anyway as Charmouth is always great fun and a brilliant social event regardless of what mother nature throws at us! The weather could only be described as unpredictable with pockets of calm weather in between hail, thunder and driving rain!
That didn’t stop the UK hardcore heli crew as there was plenty of awesome flying during the day!
My first flight was with the awesome SAB Goblin owned by Ross (Gashead) of the South West Helicopter Club. Ross uses 6s 5000mAh Optipower Lithium in this particular model. I have to say the Goblin is an awesome heli and was superbly built and set up – good work Ross and thanks again for flight!
I also managed 5 flights on my Logo 600 3D which I’m enjoying more and more with each flight.
All in all a great start to the 2012 season with great flying and great mates. See you at the next event! :)
