This section shows photos of my completed radio installation. I used an Opti 3500mAh 2s lipo for the RX pack. It fits perfectly and give many flights before a re-charge is required. Eight if I remember correctly…..

Last part of the build is the tail section. Well actually if you follow the instructions I’ve jumped a few steps, but I find it easier to install the radio without the tail installed.

So we have pretty standard parts here for SAB Goblins.

Well I have to say it is seriously impressive. The Goblin Nitro came out as a 650 size model and with a OS 105 regulated engine powering it, you can imagine it seriously does not lack power.

Main frame build on the Goblin 570 is very easy. Everything is thought out nicely and all parts fit together well

Head build begins with the typical high standard of SAB parts.

Nice CNC’ed head parts

Normal arrangement to assemble the parts together

Left and Right threaded links to create a turnbuckle affair for the main blade links

Tail assembly and boom build up time.

Low parts count for the tail assembly. Superb quality boom with excellent paint job

Its radio install time

First up is installing the Kontronik Motor and Helijive pro 120 HV ESC

Servo’s that will be used are the excellent BK 7002 and 7006 coreless

A change for me, the Vbar Neo…….with a cool little antenna bracket

Luckily being part of the Fast Lad flight team the occasion comes up to build and review different kinds of products in the rc world.

When the Goblin 500 Sport came up for review I jumped at the chance to get my hands on it and have a closer look.
